This cattle brand, shown at the Lyon County Museum, belongs to the Holy Family Catholic Church in Yerington, Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013. In 1951, the church decided to raise cattle to raise money for needed projects. The church did so for about a decade. The brand is known as the "Eye of God," the triangle is the eye, with an eyebrow above. It's the only known Catholic Church brand in the state from the time.
