Katherine Lau, a biomedical engineering student from Rutgers University, Zachary Cook, a UNLV mechanical engineering student, and Kareem Trabia, an A-Tech High School senior, at UNLV on Thursday, July 17, 2014. The team is designing a "robohand" for 4-year-old Hailey Dawson using the school's 3D printer. Dawson was born with a birth defect that left her only with a thumb and pinky on her left hand.
