This Feb. 24, 2014, photo shows Ohio Gov. John Kasich introducing Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight during his State of the State address at the Performing Arts Center in Medina, Ohio. Berry broke through a screen door to freedom last May. Upstairs, officers found DeJesus and Knight. They had been snatched off the streets separately between 2002 and 2004 and locked inside Ariel Castro’s house, where he chained and raped them, investigators later said. The list of missing people in Cleveland makes up about 1 out of every 10 cases in the entire state. Most are found within a few weeks, but there are more than 22 people who have been gone for more than a year.
