Vegetable Planting at Boys & Girls Club

Children add to a vegetable garden at the Boys & Girls Club, 2980 Robindale Road, in Henderson on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. “Bodies: The Exhibition,” currently at the Luxor, and the Boys & Girls Club teamed up to install a children’s vegetable garden at the club as part of September’s National Obesity Awareness Month. The garden currently has lettuce, tomato and artichoke plants. The club plans to add cauliflower and broccoli soon, said Max Fenster, program director.
