“The Kats Report” is an entertainment radio show hosted by John Katsilometes, columnist and editor-at-large for Greenspun Media Group. The half-hour show airs weekly on KUNV 91.5 FM at 8 p.m. Fridays. Kats interviews the top Las Vegas celebrities, performers and executives in the Entertainment Capital of the World.

Kats Report Radio Show — A Sudden Reign

Jason Tenner has been the front man for the Prince tribute band Purple Reign since the late-1990s, performing at several Las Vegas clubs and lounges. His world turned upside down on the morning of April 21, when Prince died and the attention on Purple Reign’s show at Westgate Cabaret erupted. The show has since moved into the larger International Theater at Westgate Cabaret, and Tenner talks of what the artist’s death meant to him and the act.

Clint Holmes reunites with Santa Fe. The resident headliner at Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center recalls his days at Harrah’s, from 2000-2006. His backing band in those days was Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns, and he reunites with Jerry Lopez and “the guys” on Saturday night at M Resort.
