Lotteries, a challenge to state Sen. John Lee and cleaning up the Strip

Nevada is the world's gambling capital but its residents must travel to neighboring states to buy lottery tickets, as we saw with the recent Mega Millions jackpot. We look at the politics behind the state's reluctance to adopt a lottery. State Sen. John Lee, D-Las Vegas, has a liberal challenger in the Democratic primary and it signals the left is using the tactics of the right. Finally, Clark County commissioners are looking at ways to clean up the Strip and one idea might get them in hot water with civil libertarians.
