Ryan Greene and Ray Brewer take a closer look at this weekend's UNLV home opener at Sam Boyd Stadium, as the struggling Rebels defense will hardly have a soft landing from its two tough road trips, welcoming in the always prolific Hawaii Warriors for a Saturday night showdown. Does UNLV have a chance? What type of result would be considered a success?
Hawaii: 63
UNLV: 21
UNLV will lead in the New Mexico game, and in no other game in the season.
Aside from the SUU game, (which they could lose) I am gonna guess they take the lead against Colorado St. and make it a fairly close one at home. That is pushing the envelope.
Don't take Hawaii's D-line and Linebackers for granted either, their secondary however could use some work.
