I will NOT patronize any establishment that reqires an employee to split tips.
You want tips say out of management...
Times are changing. To large degree, the supervisors and managers make it possible for the dealer to receive addition tips by creating a good working environment for employees and making the guest feel welcome. I never thought management would go this direction, but this is a team effort, always has been.
Steve Wynn at this stage in his life wants a "legacy" meaning he wants to go down as a great Las Vegas hotel genius like Kerkorian, Sarno, Binion and Bugsy Siegal but this dealer tip issue has destroyed any hope of that. He will be forever hated by all the people who make a living from tips. As time moves on this will be the only thing people will remember him for.........
When I tip a dealer it is for the survice that person has given to me. I would not tip a supervisor that is there job to suport the dealer, after all the dealer is doing all the work.Sometimes the floorman never says hi.
I will NOT patronize any establishment that reqires an employee to split tips with supervisors.I have heard they compared a waitress sharing tips with buss boys, but buss boys helps the waitress in getting those tips.Supervisors are there for the casinos interest not the the dealers and yet they want to share in those tips?
I am astonished by Tanchek's (the labor commissioner), decision. I am completely convinced that this man was paid off by S. Wynn. It is more than disheartening that justice cannot be attained. If supervisors make $225 per day plus tips and dealers, minimum wage plus tips, where is the disparity here? Common sense. What the hell happened to JUSTICE? Is this America? No! Unfortunately, Corporate monies dictate. The officials that have the power to do the right thing cannot see past the lining in their pockets.
I too think the labor commissioner was paid off by the big wynn money.Heck, the money may of come from the dealers own tip pool , they wouldn't know. Anyone with half a brain would know it is NOT right to take from a tip pool that you don't contrubute to.
Steve Wynn is a greedy, self centered, egotistical moron. I wish him nothing but the worst.
Did anyone really think the Labor Commissioner would take the "Magic Man's" d**k out of his mouth long enough to say NO. Welcome to Nevada! Too bad that Macau or even all of China is not big enough to hold this Megalomaniac and his inflated Ego.
