Every tip-earner at the Trop has a "bogus" W-2! Line #7 ; Social Security Tip Wages is blank!! All of those tip earners have to submit their W-2 to payroll, have those complaints referred to Kentucky, where they are incompetent, and then wait for the government to re-issue those W-2's. All of them have to wait 30+ days for the correct W-2's. They have to wait for their refunds. Is Columbia going to give them interest accrued on their money that they are holding on to???? NO!!!! They will keep the interest for themselves! What a company! Worst employers in the USA. Their are multiple violations of employees having child support deducted from their checks, and not forwarded to their children, as well as employees on disability whose insurance payments are not being made!!! Keep denying Hud!! Are you so afraid of your job you will say ANYTHING Bill Yung tells you to say, or are you a REAL MAN and tell the truth???? We can always know the the "Tiffany of the Strip" is now the "Hooker Haven" of the strip!! We have "whore wars" almost daily. Not to mention the pimps recruiting guests to be hookers. Those reports mysteriously disappear! Not hotel security mistake, goes higher than that ( Kentucky Kid!) Go back to Kentucky & let us longtime Vegans take care of our precious city!!
KidDakota: I have been a Trop Employee for over 30 years, since the '70's . Maybe I was mistaken re: W-2's, however, here it is 2/07/08; haven't yet received mine yet as have other employees in my dept. From what I understand, line #7 on the w-2 is wrong on many tipped employees w-2, CS has told all those employees that it will take 30+ days to resolve & return w-2's. Why should they wait to receive their tax refund due to CS incompetence. Will CS pay interest? NOT!!!! Let's face it; CS needs to go home to Kentucky & leave Vegas to us longtime Vegans!!!
Workers at the Trop who pay child support deducted from their paychecks have the money deducted, but those monies are not going to their children, but are kept by Columbia S*cks A*s. One employee was stopped for speeding, and when Metro ran his license, it said he was delinquent in child support and was arrested & booked into Clark County Detention Center. The money was deducted from his checks, but his kids were not getting it! I'm sure he's not the only one that this is happening to! Columbia refuses to admit any wrongdoing blaming everyone else but themselves. Wake up & smell the roses Bill Yung, you are the liar, perjurer, and idiot in this mess. Either get on track with the other casinos in our fine state and run the Trop like it used to be; "The Tiffany of the Strip" not the "DUMP" of the strip where we get losers looking for good room rates instead of our old "players" who went elsewhere to the new, luxurious hotels where they are treated like a gambling casino SHOULD treat their best players!!! It used to be a GREAT place to work! Now it S*cks, like Columbia S*cks A*s, worst employer in the U.S.
If you go to the Trop late night, expect to see an assortment of hookers. In the Celebration Lounge (On the right of the Main entrance, next to the Casino) some nights there are more hookers than patrons. Super Bowl weekend, about midnight, the were 3 hookers at the elevators by the Paradise Tower propositioning every man who got on or off! There have been other reports of pimps trying to recruit female guests to become hookers. Where is Security???? Not enough security to handle it all. When Columbia took over in Jan. '07 they laid off 50% of Security. So many cars were stolen, broken into, or people mugged, that they had to reluctantly bring some back to patrol the outside of the property! They got rid of dozens of slot machines & replaced them with vibrating recliners. Guess they don't need to hire slot people if there are less slots. Too bad the only people you see in those chairs at night are hookers, looking for prospective johns.

If the bagel bakeries used "bottled water", the bagels would taste fine. There are a few bakeries in the valley that do this. Their pizza is also significantly better. For 25 cents a gallon, bottled water is the way to go for bagel & pizza businesses.
