Thank you (again) for bringing a sensitive issue to the public. I for one, being a native Las Vegan (5th generation) have certainly been fed enough lies over the years. If this town/city is going to continue to thrive, we must know the truth regarding the situations that we are facing, (lets take the water issue for example).
We live in a geological "bowl" - therefore, we must take measures to eliminate problems rather than keep creating them.

Thank you for you article, bring attention to the past history of our area . We went to the St. Thomas site in the 1970's when the lake was low. It was a ghostly site. I was so sad when they covered up the Salt Mine. When I was little, I thought that the salt pillars depicted the story of SODUM AND GUMORAH. Many dear friends were born there, and my Mother and Father spent time and worked there during the construction of the Dam. Great article. Thanks for the slide show.
