Comments by nobody - Las Vegas Sun

After 18 years here in the hospitality business I can see the difference in attitudes from both the customer and the employee. Between the cost of the drinks now and the percentages set on the machines it is not enjoyable to go out anymore. Customers are getting squeezed and they hold the employee accountable because of "poor" service. You can always tell those who have never had to wait on anyone, they will always tell you how it should be. The corporations are trying to keep all of the money now, look at the paper payouts now, and they want to pay the employees less. Glad I am getting out of the business, not worth the hassle or the attitudes that are prevalent now.

Well looks like thebs and NVMakz are having fun. I just have one question for everyone reading this. Are we better off now than we were 10 years ago? Seems like everytime the republican party takes over they do the opposite of what the party stands for. Nixon, Ford, Reagan, either Bush spend huge sums of money on the defense industrial complex and damn near cripple this country. Then people get pissed and elect the democrats to fix it. All this money going to the defense department doesn't have anything to do with making a small group of people even more money does it? You guys need to check out loosechange911.com and make up your own mind and vote with your conscious this time, not the propaganda machine that truly runs this country. God Bless us all, these are the end of days... I am going to learn Chinese before it is too late..

I guess Steve and Mike are going to have to give up that Ferrari now. Aren't these the same guys who ran C2K where those kids died from a drug overdoses? Guess its time to go to the bahamas and retire.....
