I worked for republic services and last year we got a contract that nobody wants, teamster shoved it up our throat and threatened us if we go on strike. the ballots counts was very questionable, rumors has it that union rep., from the president to the shop steward got paid by republic service( suns should look in to it). we need a person that will clean up local teamster and stand up for the members rights, come election time, we need to express our concerns and exercise our rights to vote. republic services employees are the hardest working people and we got a crappy contract, much less than u p s employees who always get what they want and we have the same union.im not saying that we should have what u p s have, just a better contract than what we have now.
