to smcgrath: First I am not related to the Newton's in any way or means. Just speaking the truth instead of lies. You must be related to Kennedy and still trying to feed lies. The truth will come out in the end and Mr. Kennedy has already has two strikes against him so I guess we will wait and see.

Mr. Newton is an icon and he also is a human being with feelings just like the rest of us. He entered this agreement in good faith and trusted the people behind this venture. Little did he know the snakes he would be working with until they finally crawl from under the rock they lived.

I have had the opportunity to be on the property for several occasions throughout the years for benefits, etc. The estate was simply beautiful with beautiful roses lining the driveway into the estate. I also had the opportunity to be on the estate a month before this project started and it was not in the despair that Mr. Kennedy claims but well kept and beautiful.

To state in the press that Mr. Newton mistreated his animals is a total lie. Mr. Newton would never mistreat any animal. He has proven his love for any animal in many ways. If he mistreated animals then why did they give him all the birds that that woman was hoarding. I also remember an occasion at the Las Vegas Hilton where a duck had wandered and was giving birth to some ducks on their property and they call Wayne to take and care for them.

If the project is suppose to be giving horse shows then why would you remove his horses. This is suppose to be a project honoring Wayne Newton not trying to ruin his good name. It seems to me that they have misled Mr. Newton when he went into this agreement. Why did you also remove the WN from the gates when you are trying to push this estate as a tour? Once again, Kennedy is playing games.
It seems to me that Kennedy has really mismanaged his position on this project and because of his failures is trying to ruin the names of good people the Newton's, so that he can keep in the good graces of the Harbers. Wake up and smell the coffee people. When this project began and it looked like when Steve Kennedy wasn't given his way he tried to sue a neighbor which he was told he had to drop. So now to make himself look good he is fabricating all these lies against the Newton's. This man (Kennedy) needs to crawl back under the rock he crawled out of.

Excellent interview with Wayne Newton. I truly enjoyed his sense of humor and honestly. His upcoming project is very interesting and I look forward to visiting it when it is completed. I have been by his estate and always wonder what it looked like inside as it is so beautiful from the outside. Now people will be able to take tours of his estate and the museum, etc. Best of luck to a wonderful human being and I wish him the very best in his new venture. I also look forward to the new movies he has coming out this year.

If the gentleman who spoke about all the horse urine and manure knew what he was talking about he would have known that Mr. Newton has kept horses and exoctic animals on his property for years. To be exact he has had animals on his ranch since 1966. He should have done his homework before making a stupid comment about the smell. I have been fortunate to spend some time on the ranch for a political rally and never smelled a thing and was never bothered by flies or any other bug. The Newton property is well kept and those people should be ashamed of themselves. Mike Tyson kept a lion or tiger on his property when he use to live on Tomiyasu Lane, did the neighbors complain then when their children or grandchildren were in danger if it escaped.

Mr. Newton has also opened up his home for charity, political and veterans for years. Was there a problem with traffic or noise and did they complain then. I don't think so.

Technically his property doesn't really affect half the people who attended this meeting so what is their problem. It was alright that the county has made three sides of his property commercial. Where were these people when that was taking place, hiding behind their fences. His neighbors technically don't even live close to where this would affect their daily lifes.

I wish Mr Newton the best of luck with this project and the amount of jobs it will create. Las Vegas unemployment rate is pretty high and it will give a lot people the opportunity to keep their homes and put food on their families table.
