World-renowned DJ Tiesto manned the wheels of steel yesterday afternoon to officially open Liquid Pool Lounge at MGM CityCenter’s Aria amid the ladies debuting bikinis hugging their curvaceous assets, the guys flexing their muscles and showing off ripped abs, and everyone moving to Tiesto’s top-notch techno techniques.
Photographer Denise Truscello was onsite for the partygoers and Tiesto, a Las Vegas regular who also spun at Haze in Aria last Saturday night. “This is a skin fest!” another photographer said in between snapshots at Liquid, which weighs in as a little larger than Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage.
Liquid’s staff was friendly and attentive on opening day, and revelers enjoyed the temperatures in the mid 70s in the late afternoon. For sun worshippers wanting a more serene experience, the two larger pool areas walking toward Liquid offer a more relaxing respite.
In recent weeks, Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach has reported on the pool parties, particulars and premieres at Wet Republic at MGM Grand, Aria, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay, and later today, he’ll have a rundown on what to expect this season at Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Ditch Fridays and other events at the Palms.
Dive in the pool, for pool season is all wet at Liquid.
