Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer at Azure
If there is one It Boy celebrity who could overshadow superstars Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias in Las Vegas, it’s 11-time Olympic medalist and Speedo-rockin’ Ryan Lochte, who partied in the Entertainment Capital of the World over the weekend like it was the last weekend on Earth.
As previously reported, Lochte kicked off the party whirl with teammate Cullen Jones at Tao in the Venetian on Thursday night, followed by daytime fun in the sun -- and in a barely there white Speedo seen and clicked on across the globe -- at nearby Tao Beach on Friday afternoon.
Without further delay, more of the Lochte Las Vegas Lowdown:
FRIDAY NIGHT AT LAVO: Lochte partied at Lavo’s Le Freak Fridays in the Palazzo, this time joined by teammate Conor Dwyer. After dining with a group of friends on stuffed lobster, spaghetti and meatballs and more, the group made their way upstairs to the boutique nightclub. Jones later joined in on the fun, and the group, including Lochte, danced the night away.
Also at Lavo: Jason Kennedy of “E! News,” Ryan Basford from “Chelsea Lately,” Matt Lanter from “90210” and his fiance Angela Stacy. Basford was celebrating his birthday, and the entourage enjoyed the sounds of DJ Lema.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT AZURE: The Speedo returns, this time in pink! Lochte, joined by fellow Olympic swimmers and friends, enjoyed an afternoon in the sun at Azure Luxury Pool at the Palazzo on Saturday.
After donning a patriotic swimsuit on the Azure blue arrivals carpet with one of the two gold medals he won at the 2012 London Sumer Olympics (two golds, two silvers and a bronze were won in the British capital last month), Lochte jumped into one of Azure’s pools to pose for photographs with fans before changing into a bright pink Speedo.
Is white or pink Lochte’s color? Who cares, as long as he’s in a Speedo! Servers presented a towering cake in honor of his belated 28th birthday (he was born Aug. 3) and Olympic triumphs. Thanks to Jeremy Womack of Womack Photography for his photo gallery and to Richard Corey for his video of Lochte and Dwyer posted on YouTube.
SATURDAY NIGHT AT TAO: Lochte returned to the Venetian and dined at Tao with friends before making his way to the nightclub to party to the sounds of DJ Vice. He made his way to the DJ booth, where Vice and Lochte posed for a photograph.
Also Saturday at Tao Group properties: Elisha Cuthbert of ABC’s “Happy Endings” dined with girlfriends at Lavo, and they enjoyed oysters, prosciutto, sea bass and the Oreo Zeppole for dessert; actor D.J. Qualls partied at Lavo with friends at a VIP table for Stereo Saturdays led by DJ Reflex; and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton made a late-night stop at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to check out DJ Kaskade’s residency.
SUNDAY DINNER AT BACIO: Lochte and Jones were guests of Tropicana executive Richard Wilk at the resort’s Bacio Italian restaurant with chef Carla Pellegrino on Sunday night.
Lochte brought 10 of his closest friends for the dinner and a celebration cake before hitting the blackjack tables, where a spy witness told Mr. Vegas DeLuxe Robin Leach that Lochte continued his gold-medal ways of winning “a little bit of money.”
Incidentally, Corey’s YouTube video of Lochte at Azure was broadcast Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America” along with a nice plug for Vegas DeLuxe and our posted weekend stories of Lochte at play.
SUNDAY NIGHT AT XS: On Sunday night, while viewers tuned in to see Lochte on E’s “Fashion Police,” he wrapped up his weekend-long birthday blast at XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore for the Sunday Night Swim party with Jones. Lochte stayed dry -- and clothed -- in the DJ booth with Manufactured Superstars. In black skinny jeans and a white T-shirt emblazoned with the U.S. flag, Lochte posed for photographs with fans until predawn Monday.
It’s safe to say that Lochte partied like a champ while in Las Vegas -- an Olympic champion.
