Barbra’s sentimental journey at MGM Grand Garden Arena tonight also features the pop-tenor teen trio talents of Il Volo and trumpet titan Chris Botti, who recently thrilled when he performed his one-man show at Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
Rival comedy kings Tim Allen, Ray Romano and Kevin James keep laughter alive, while Bill Maher offers topical political humor for two nights at the Orleans ahead of Election Day Tuesday.
There are showdowns of a different kind among would-be chefs at Adam Richman’s inaugural $300,000 World Food Championships and Las Vegas Foodie Fest at Silverton Casino Lodge with its outdoor food trucks and carnival games.

Food Network turned Travel Network star Adam Richman hosts the first World Food Championships at Bally’s all weekend, with additional events at the Paris and Caesars Palace. Expect to see many star chefs and national food experts, and I’ll help judge Sunday’s Final Table showdown at Caesars with the seven winners of different categories, including best burger chef, best chili chef and best sandwich chef. The Food Truck Movement, with more than 20 trucks in the caravan, will cruise the Strip from the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas to the former Sahara and then back to the Silverton on Saturday before the festival to shine the spotlight on the local food truck culture.
