Two cheftestants of the 21 competing on the premiere of Bravo’s Season 10 of “Top Chef” in Seattle were sent home Wednesday night, but our Bratalian and Meatball Spot chef Carla Pellegrino was safe. She continues the chase next week arriving in Seattle after her Los Angeles test with judge Wolfgang Puck.
As we reported in our interview Wednesday, Carla had less than 1 hour to make an omelet, and on Wednesday night’s episode, Wolf defused some of the kitchen drama with Austrian humor.
Wolf, who has several Strip restaurants, commented that Carla’s omelet looked as if it was wearing makeup and that women can be like stoves, as you never know if it’s going to work out properly!
In the end, Wolf awarded a chef’s jacket to Carla, and she moves forward to the next episode. We’ll have a preview next Wednesday .
