Two major exclusives today! Platinum and pregnant beauty Holly Madison and boyfriend Pasquale Rotella told me exclusively Wednesday night that they will get engaged before their daughter is born in March. “It will be quite soon,” promised the Insomniac Events chief and Electric Daisy Carnival producer.
“Then we’ll get married after the baby is born when Holly is slimmed and trimmed again,” he added, proudly and playfully rubbing her baby bump. “You wouldn’t know she’s at the 6-month mark.”
A radiant, happy and glowing Holly added: “It’ll be a traditional wedding when the timing is right. No real rush. We haven’t decided on a name yet for our daughter. We’ve got a lot of our own ideas, though, and others from friends.”
The couple were hand-in-hand at the Blue Man Group premiere at its new home in the Monte Carlo and afterward turned up with “Peepshow” star Josh Strickland at the new nightspot the Act in the Palazzo.
NEW WYNN PRODUCTION: My recent Wicked Whisper & Racy Rumor about Steve Wynn’s plans for a new show at his Encore Theater after Garth Brooks’ departure Saturday night was confirmed last night, too.
I can now reveal that Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” director Kenny Ortega is working with the hotel tycoon on the project. “It’s in the concept stage but moving forward,” I was told. “No star is being considered yet until the plans are farther along.”
Kenny, whose credits also include “High School Musical,” “Dirty Dancing” and the Sirens of T.I., also staged the “mock” Elvis Presley wedding chapel invitation that Steve and new wife Andrea sent for their wedding ceremony.
‘DALLAS’ STARS: The Leonardo da Vinci sculpture “Horse & Rider” has been moved this week from the Venetian exhibition to Texas with the stars of the original TV series “Dallas.” Larry Hagman, Linda Grey, Sheree J. Wilson and Brenda Strong are raising funds for an autistic children’s charity that uses miniature horses in therapy. Tonight, they’ll present the sculpture; if an oil-rich baron buys it, I’m told that another casting from the original mold has been made for the Venetian.
CHEERS! The 2012 bottles of Beaujolais will be available in our French restaurants as the young wine just weeks after harvest was officially released at 12:01 a.m. today. King of Beaujolais Georges DuBoeuf overseas the jet race from Paris to L.A. and onto Las Vegas. Beaujolais dinners tonight are at Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris, Marche Bacchus in Desert Shores and Tender at the Luxor.
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi was at House of Blues Foundation Room in Mandalay Bay, while Food Network star Aaron Sanchez (“Chopped”) was downstairs at Santana.
It was a busy night for comedian and actor George Lopez. He joined “Sin City Rules” cast members Lori Montoya, Lisa Krause, Natayla Bronshteyn, Lana Fuchs and Jennifer Harmon during the Core DJ Meet-and-Greet at Nove Italiano in the Palms and then stayed for the Tony LaRussa Animal Rescue Foundation dinner. George posed for photographs with chef Geno Bernardo and sports greats Bobby Knight and Greg Maddux.
Cast and crew of Cirque du Soleil’s sexy “Zumanity” at New York-New York celebrated their 9th anniversary at Hyde Bellagio during the Lost Angels Insider Night party. The cast was presented with a black-and-red embossed cake topped with the show’s signature roses and a cast photograph. The group included Arslan Gusengadzhiev (the dislocation act), William Hulett (the shirtless hunk with roses), Alan Jones Silva (“Tissus”) and Julia Kolosova (sexy schoolgirl in “Hoops”).
