British singer-songwriter Rita Ora hosted and performed at Tao in The Venetian on Saturday night. The Yugoslavia-born 22-year-old, whose new career has been boosted by Jay-Z, arrived on the red carpet in a floral-print Kye dress, Ferragamo boots and jewelry by Ambush and posed for photographs for photographers and fans.
Ora, who has a mezzo-soprano range, dined with friends at the popular and uber-successful Asian restaurant before making her way upstairs to the hotspot led by DJ Five the night before Easter. The group had a VIP booth overlooking the dance floor, and Ora was mesmerized by the Bottle Fairy. Before her night was over, Ora took to the stage and performed her hits “Radioactive” and “RIP.”
Also at Tao: gorgeous “90210” starlet Jessica Lowndes, who stopped by Ora’s table in the dining room to say hello to the singer, who once guest starred on The CW series. Lowndes and friends, including new boyfriend model and ex-rugby player Thom Evans, enjoyed dinner before heading to the nightclub, where they had celebratory shots in honor of Thom’s 28th birthday on Tuesday. Before Tao, Lowndes spent the afternoon under the sun at Tao Beach.
“Twilight” stud Kellan Lutz treated his father Brad Lutz to a birthday dinner at Tao. And at Tao on Friday night, “X Factor” U.K. judge Tulisa Contostavlos with friends at a VIP table.
At sister nightspot Lavo in Palazzo, actor A.J. Buckley treated his fiancee Abigail Ochse to a birthday dinner before the happy couple made their way to Tao. Thanks to Brenton Ho of Powers Imagery for his photo gallery of Ora and Lowndes.

In the spirit of Venice, The Venetian is a little piece of romantic Italy right here in Las Vegas. The Venetian is an "all-suite" hotel, with rooms accented with plush linens and Italian marble. The 4,027 suites are divided into two towers: The 36-story Venetian Tower that offers guests a taste of luxurious Las Vegas and the Venezia suites, which guarantee 12 floors of high-end elegance. The top five floors are the hotel's highest level of luxury with its private access, concierge lounge, upgraded features and even a dedicated staff.
The flagship of Venetian nightlife is TAO, an ultra-hip nightclub located inside of TAO Asian Bistro. V Bar is The Venetian's super smooth ultra lounge, made by the owners of New York City's club Lotus and Los Angeles' super swank Sunset Room.
The Venetian features 19 restaurants including Thomas Keller's award-winning French restaurant Bouchon, Mario Batali's B&B Ristorante, Aquaknox for fresh seafood and the 42,000 square foot TAO Asian Bistro. There's also the food court inside the Canal Shoppes for those looking for a quick bite.
Guests can float along The Grand Canal Shops in an authentic Italian gondola ride and pass stores like Burberry and Kenneth Cole along the way. And if you haven't caught a real celeb, on the street in Vegas, you can head over to Madame Tussauds to check out a wax version.
