Security around the sale dates for tickets to the Britney Spears residency at Planet Hollywood, starting in December, is tighter than at the NSA buildings in Washington, D.C. Any attempt to ascertain what will be revealed Sept. 17 with ticketing and seat reservations is met with total silence.
Nobody at the resort, Britney’s camp or Caesars Entertainment — which is promoting her shows — is saying Word One.
Britney has posted a Sept. 17 countdown clock on her website, which also should coincide with the release of her first single from her eighth album.
Tech fans who broke computer codes to gain access inside Britney's website for Sept. 17 now report that it holds three empty frame-holders. They indicate that a tab marked for Ticketing, another tab marked for Seating Preferences and a third tab for Event Info — but no details on those three subjects. However, that would seem to indicate the possible on-sale date of Planet Hollywood show tickets rather than information solely for the new album.
It's also rumored that the album will be titled “All Eyes on Me,” which may well be the title of her Las Vegas show. Las Vegas regular Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas has been working on the new CD with the pop princess. They were partners on his 2012 hit single “Scream and Shout.”
Britney, who is on the "Smurfs 2" soundtrack with “Ooh La La” written by Katy Perry, has confirmed her PH Live show without spilling many details. She has been in rehearsals at a Thousand Oaks, Calif., dance studio and is on a rigorous fitness schedule.
“The (Vegas) performances won’t be simple,” she told Shape magazine. “They’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”
She’s been doing three-day-a-week, hourlong cardio workouts and daily yoga sessions.
There also are rumors that Katy will make a surprise guest appearance on the opening night of Britney’s residency. Previously, Britney’s described it as a cool, hip, club-like show that will change regularly over its proposed two-year contract. She’s said that she is ready and raring to go.
