Contributing photographer Tom Donoghue provides Vegas DeLuxe with some pretty extraordinary shots, but did you ever wonder just what goes into one of his shoots?
Here’s what it took for Tom and his team balanced on the roof of Palazzo for a unique magazine cover photograph of 19-time world champion rodeo cowboy Trevor Brazile of Decatur, Texas.
“He’s broken so many records while at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas,” Tom said. “I wanted to capture a shot that reflected that he owned the city.”
We have to wait until next month to see the finished cover, but, meantime, with Tom balanced on a ladder, here is a behind-the-scenes look.
Tom also dangled from a Maverick Helicopter for these incredible new aerial photographs of the Las Vegas Valley that include the D Las Vegas, the M Resort, Wynn and Encore, UNLV, the Thomas & Mack Center, South Point, the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Stratosphere, Tropicana, the High Roller observation wheel and more.
