Charlie Watts, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones arrive at a central London venue Thursday, July 12, 2012, to mark the 50th anniversary of The Rolling Stones’ first performance.

Wicked Whispers & Racy Rumors this Thursday morning! It is a solid rumor, but neither MGM Grand nor The Rolling Stones has confirmed it yet.

High-level secret word slipped out this morning that the world’s greatest rock and roll band will play MGM Grand Garden Arena this summer -- not once but twice.

June 7 and 14 have been tentatively penciled on the calendar. I can’t get any reaction from my MGM contacts, though, just yet. After the Stones’ 50th anniversary concert celebrations ended in New York in December, first rumblings began about a full-blown 2013 tour.

This month, the Stones semi-confirmed that they’d hit the road again but denied any plans to play Coachella as a kickoff.

A few days later, frontman Mick Jagger said that he would meet with the band members to discuss what they wanted to do. He confirmed that there had been several offers for a tour, adding that we would have to wait for an official announcement about dates and venues.

As of this morning, The Rolling Stones have not confirmed any schedule for a 2013 tour, but my source is highly reliable and trustworthy.

  1. It's only rock and roll but I like it!

    YES I DO!

  2. Perfect Cirque duo, Love and Satisfaction. C'mon, somebody's thought of that already!

  3. Nanker,

You can't ALWAYS get what you want.
But, if you try, sometimes you might find
    you get what you need.

    Best,
