Happy Birthday, America! In fact, it’s No. 237, and that means a fabulous Fourth of July Weekend. Top priority will be backyard barbecues and living in swimming pools to escape the 100-plus-degree scorching heat. UFC fighters and bikini beauties at our dayclubs will wear the red, white and blue.

Miami Heat MVP LeBron James will be at Tao in The Venetian to celebrate the team’s repeat NBA championship, over the San Antonio Spurs, and there are as many DJs back on the Strip as were here for 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival weekend.

We’ve reached the last and final event of the 44th Annual World Series of Poker with the Main Event. Thousands of poker enthusiasts from more than 85 countries are expected to take to the felt, so many players that there will be three starting flights Saturday, with defending champ Greg Merson (he won $8.5 million last year), Sunday with Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson and Monday with 2003 champ Chris Moneymaker celebrating his 10th anniversary.

Celebrities Jason Alexander, Brad Garrett, Kevin Pollak, Ray Romano and James Woods are expected to play, with a prize pool of more than $60 million and the final winner in the November Nine walking away with a $9 million first-place haul.

A coterie of comics will keep us all laughing this four-day weekend, so let’s light the fuse and march in the parade we affectionately call the Royal Robin Rundown:
