The thermometer is surpassing 100 degrees in Las Vegas this week, so what better way for the 51 contestants of the 2013 Miss USA Pageant to cool off than at Go Pool at the Flamingo today.

The contestants, including our Miss Nevada USA 2013 Chelsea Caswell of Las Vegas, modeled their barely there ViX bikinis for TV and photo shoots and, for good measure, competed in paddle races.

They deserve some fun, as tough competition is in the not too far distant future. The pageant at PH Live in Planet Hollywood airs on NBC on Sunday, June 16 — Father’s Day.

Thanks to contributing photographer Tom Donoghue for his photo gallery of the frolicking at Flamingo. Please keep checking back for our continuing and extensive pageant coverage.
