WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS
The new Donny & Marie Osmond one-year contract extension at Flamingo gives them sufficient time off for TV shows and other concert dates and opens dates in the showroom there to be filled prime time by a very physical pop star. On the heels of the proposed Britney Spears deal at Planet Hollywood, Caesars Entertainment execs have settled on another female singer, and I’m reliably told that she could start there as soon as this fall. “The deal is very close to being finalized,” I was reliably told.
It seems too improbable to be true -- or to even become true -- but there’s reliable word that a major sports team might be sold to enable its owners to buy another team, with sufficient money remaining to buy into the Las Vegas hotel business.
Former Mayor Oscar Goodman has received the galleys of his new book “Being Oscar” out May 21 and is proofing his illustrious words. I’m hearing solid reports that it will be turned into a TV movie.

COOKING DUO: Entertainer and Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno, who arrives home tonight after a trek through Kenya and France to find inspiration for his next CD, teamed up with “Top Chef Seattle” firebrand Carla Pellegrino. Before his departure, they filmed a kitchen segment at her restaurant Bratalian in Henderson for Hallmark Channel. They sang a song, “Veal Scallopini,” at the end of the show, which aired last weekend and repeats for the next month.

It was a Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel weekend here, and the newlyweds spent social time celebrating not with each other but with their friends. Justin started out with his pals at a bachelor party in Yellowtail at Bellagio. Meantime, Jessica was at a bachelorette bash at Fix. J&J did link up afterward for Kyle Richards’ party at The Bank with DJ Sky Blu of LMFAO.
The next night, there was no sign of Justin, who will tour solo this fall after his summer dates with Jay-Z. Jessica hit Yellowtail this time for a celebration. Her GFs and she went over to nearby 1 OAK in The Mirage, where they danced until 3 a.m. at a VIP table.
Our spywitnesses also spotted Jessica enjoying a day of beauty treatments, massages and relaxation at Qua Baths at Caesars Palace, where she pranced around in her birthday suit at one point.
Racecar driver Danica Patrick celebrated her birthday with dinner next door at Restaurant Guy Savoy with beau and fellow driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Since they weren’t driving anywhere afterward, they enjoyed a premium 2000 Chateau Figeac Bordeaux with their truffle soup and truffle risotto.
