Coolio at Fright Dome at Circus Circus
For the third time in as many months, actor Nicolas Cage, Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil and Luxor headliner comedian Carrot Top had a “secret society” lunch, this time at La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway in the Wynn. The trio dined with their significant others and enjoyed dishes prepared by executive chef William DeMarco served with Bordeaux.
The guys promised owner Michael Morton that they’ll hold their next meeting at his downtown restaurant La Comida. They then took off for Fright Dome at Circus Circus to check on Vince’s new restaurant there that opens this week. Nic posed for photos with the actors at the haunted houses before watching a performance by rapper Coolio, who was there with gal pal Mimi of “Celebrity Wife Swap” taking a tour with owner Jason Egan.
Caesars Palace superstar headliner Shania Twain enjoyed lunch with a friend at Wolfgang Puck’s Pizzeria & Cucina at Crystals in CityCenter and ordered a butter lettuce salad, an onion pizza and an eggplant pizza.
Cast members of “Fantasy” at the Luxor and “Menopause the Musical” at Excalibur greeted 23 patients for mammogram screenings when “Bodies: the Exhibit” at the Luxor hosted Nevada Health Center’s Mammovan for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. enjoyed dinner at Fix in Bellagio.
New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Torrie Wilson were at Deuce Lounge in Aria after watching a World Series game; also at Deuce, T.I. Afterward, the duo went to 1OAK in the Mirage, where Steelo Brim (“Ridiculousness”) was partying.
Steelo also was at nearby Haze for drinks with Michael B. Jordan, Jas Prince and Christian Milian listening when “Who Booty” singer John Hart was persuaded to leave his VIP table and perform.
Professional Bull Riders Sean Willingham, Luke Snyder and Brendon Clark were among the revelers at PBR Rock Bar & Grill in Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood showing fans how to ride the mechanical bull. Servers presented a cake to celebrate the long, successful careers of the three cowboys.
While in town, A-Rod and Torrie had lunch at Social House in Crystals. They asked their waiter to create a selection of signature dishes and wound up spending two hours enjoying yellowtail jalapeno, a seared albacore roll and a sashimi platter. Also at Social House recently: Nic and wife Alice Kim enjoying yellowtail jalapeno, crispy pata and wine.
In town for a concert and her birthday, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian shopped at Crystals. Kanye treated himself to an overnight leather bag at Bottega Veneta, while fiancee Kim in a pink coat checked out new fashions at Dolce & Gabbana.
Rapper J. Cole watched Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay. He said his two favorite acts were “Human Nature” and “Thriller.” The singer and his entourage went backstage afterward to greet the cast and take photos. It was 3 a.m. when they boarded their tour bus for their next concert in San Francisco.
Where did professional bull riders fuel up before taking on those angry and stomping bulls at the Thomas & Mack Center during the 2013 PBR Build Ford Tough World Finals that ended with J.B. Mauney’s electrifying win? They discovered the family-style feasts at Carmine’s in Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. Silvano Alves, Guilherme Marchi, Kody Lostroh, Douglas Duncan, Marco Eguchi and Austin Meier enjoyed a big lunch of penne alla vodka, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmigiana and shrimp scampi and topped off the meals with tiramisu and chocolate torta.
Horny Mike of the History Channel’s “Counting Cars” joined a group of professional bull riders on the judging panel for the Tyson PBR Fan Zone Cook-Off, The bull riders, assisted by their wives, had 20 minutes to see who had the best skills in the kitchen. Later, Mike had front-row seats to cheer on the Top 35 bull riders in the world. Luke taught him how to ride in Season 2, and they became friends.
Avenged Sevenfold frontman Matt Shadows and his wife Val dined at Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse in the D Las Vegas before his band’s concert at Mandalay Bay. They ran into UFC and TV host Arianny Celeste, who was sitting across from them, and posed for photos.
Legendary guitarist Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains dined on steaks and seafood in a party of eight at N9NE Steakhouse in the Palms. Executive chef Barry Dakake gave him a tour of the kitchen, where he signed the chef’s celebrity “shakedown door.” N9NE is about to close for a fast makeover and is set to reopen for New Year’s celebrations.

Tryst, Wynn’s signature nightclub, is situated along a private lagoon under a 90-foot waterfall and plays host to some of the world’s most renown DJs.
Catering to the young and modern crowd, Planet Hollywood is a one-stop shop for entertainment with its massive shopping mall, slew of restaurants, spacious casino and clubs.
The ambiance of the casino is retro-chic meets high-tech with black granite floors throughout and colorful LED lights throughout the space. The theme carries into the 100,000 square-foot casino with 250 flat screens topping off slot machines. The casino is also home to 87 tables, a sports book and a poker room.
There's also the Miracle Mile Shops, one Vegas' largest malls, with 140 stores including BCBG Max Azaria, bebe, Urban Outfitters and The Discovery Channel Store.
Following an afternoon of shopping, guests can satisfy their appetites at one of the gourmet restaurants in Planet Hollywood, like the non-traditional approach to steakhouses at Strip House or check out the exotic Far East motif at KOI restaurant and lounge. And if guests are still looking for more, they can spend the after hours at Privé, Triq or Krave nightclubs.
Perhaps one of the resorts biggest attractions came in March with the addition of "Peepshow." The naughty twist on the story of Little Bo Peep is modern-day spin on the run-of-the-mill Vegas topless review. The "Peepshow" stage has seen visiting celebs like Scary Spice Mel B, "Dancing with the Stars" Kelly Monaco and Playboy's Holly Madison.
