It’s Halloween, so we appropriately have some …
WICKED WHISPERS & RACY RUMORS
I’m hearing first rumblings that a mega-Strip show will go dark in January for a major makeover, with new acts and a new, younger, fresher and softer storyline.
I also am hearing that the theme of “desert-fication” will be tackled in another Strip show next year.
The Cosmopolitan has confirmed our report weeks ago of the Bruno Mars mini-residency that “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace producers will become its creative partner for a show debuting Dec. 30. Tickets go on sale Tuesday for the anchor entertainment, “Vegas Nocturne.”
Execs promise “groundbreaking, unscripted entertainment sourced from the best the world has to offer,” and “guests will play a critical role in directing the flow, creating the chemistry that lights up the night.” The surprise show won’t start or end with the rise and fall of a curtain at the unconventional playground.
Watch for Las Vegas art expert Brett Maly to make a second appearance on “Pawn Stars” tonight when he has to appraise paintings by Muhammad Ali for Rick Harrison. Brett’s father, Rod Maley, opens his Art Encounter Gallery on Friday at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace steps away from Joe’s Stone Crab and P.J. Clarke’s.
Controversial chef Anthony Bourdain has confirmed our earlier WW&RR that he’ll be filming here for his CNN series “Parts Unknown.” The finale of Season 2 will be live from downtown’s Atomic Liquors and will feature a lively debate with anchor Don Lemon, “The Wire” star Wendell Pierce, comedienne Bonnie McFarlane and New York chef Marcus Samuelsson. Anthony also will film Las Vegas chefs and venues for the new Season 3.
Las Vegas chef Shirley Chung is still alive on Season 11 of “Top Chef” in New Orleans after Wednesday night’s Halloween episode. She didn’t win the hat trick, but she’s safe to continue for next Wednesday’s challenges.
Celebrity chef Angelo Sosa, who appeared on Season 2 of “Top Chef,” has opened an ultra lounge in Summerlin. He has converted the second level of his Poppy Den at Tivoli Village into a late-night hangout with DJ Tatiana’s music and an outdoor patio.
Grammy winner Ne-Yo was in hot water with New York Daily News reporting that he took 10 guests to Negril in Manhattan’s West Village and left without paying the check or tipping the waitress. The singer reportedly walked out after the bill reached $800, and owners and the waitress are still trying to get it paid nearly a month later.
HALLOWEEN HICCUP: Rapper Chris Brown has checked himself into a Malibu, Calif., rehab facility to deal with his anger-management issues after being arrested in Washington, D.C., after a fist fight. His Black Magic Bayou Halloween party with girlfriend Karrueche Tran at Haze in Aria is canceled.
Lawyer Mark Geragos confirmed the rehab stay: “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point. He just decided that he wanted to take some time off and do some introspection.”
If he is convicted, he could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, and simultaneously in L.A. prosecutors could determine he violated probation in his assault on singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna. That could undo his 1,400 hours of community service, and he’d have to serve up to four years behind bars.
PORN PREMIERE: Only in Las Vegas could we have a porn movie world premiere complete with red carpet and spotlight trackers to make Hollywood envious. Wicked Pictures will unveil its big-budget “Underworld” at the Hard Rock Hotel in January at the AVN/Adult Entertainment Expo. After the premiere, XXX actresses Jessica Drake and Asa Akira, who lives here, will have a Q+A with media and trade along with director Brad Armstrong.
He says the erotic masterpiece is like no other porn flick and blends breathtaking visuals, tantalizing costumes, intriguing characters, out-of-this-world production design and amazing sex. Cast members Julia Ann, Adrianna Luna, Asphyxia Noir, Cameron Dee, Capri Cavanni, Presley Hart, Toni Ribas, Eric Masterson, Steven St. Croix and Tommy Gunn will be here for the premiere.
BODYPAINTED BEAUTIES: The walls will come alive, and stunning, near-naked models camouflaged seamlessly will step out to surprise Golden Gate’s downtown hotel-casino guests on Tuesday, Nov. 12, when SyFy debuts the hotel on its sexy new show “Naked Vegas.” The docu- series cameras follow five renowned bodypaint artists on and off the Strip as they take on some of the most challenging, intricate and unique bodypaint jobs imaginable.
Rocker Marilyn Manson and rapper Lil Jon partied at Crazy Horse III Gentlemen’s Club on Tuesday night. Three sexy dancers joined Marilyn, in all-black attire and sunglasses.
Former Cleveland Cavaliers star and current ESPN NASCAR analyst Brad Dougherty was at Casa Fuente in Forum Shops enjoying an Arturo Fuente Don Arturo Gran Aniverxario cigar.
Harrah’s headliner magician Mac King got his fright on at Freakling Bros.’ Trilogy of Terror.
Zoppe Italian Family Circus has set up its big top in Symphony Park at Smith Center for equestrian showmanship, canine capers, clowns and acrobats through Sunday.
“Pin Up” at the Stratosphere starlet Claire Sinclair presides as Queen of the Downtown Halloween Parade on Fremont Street and at Crazy Horse III.

T-Pain is at Haze.
Wiz Khalifa is at Tao in the Venetian.
G-Squared is at 1OAK in the Mirage.
Calvin Harris and DJ Fergie are at Hakkasan in MGM Grand.
Reigning America’s Best DJ Kaskade is at XS in Steve Wynn’s Encore.
