Diddy hosts his “Fight Night After-Party” at Rain and Palms Pools on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013.

The Fight of the Decade/Fight of the Century between winner Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. of Las Vegas and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez of Guadalajara, Mexico, at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night drew Hollywood, music and sports stars to Las Vegas, and it wouldn’t be a fight-and-party weekend without Sean “Diddy” Combs hosting a big-time bash.
Hip-hop legend Diddy did just that with his “Fight Night After-Party” at the Palms Pool and nearby Rain. Diddy celebrated the victory by Mayweather Jr., whose victory streak is now at 45, with Tyga, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, DJ Clue, Flo Rida, Lil Kim, Mally Mal, Claudia Jordan and Don Benjamin.
DJ Drama spun a high-energy set of hits for thousands of guests, and the crowd ignited around 4 a.m. when Diddy, Ross, Tyga, 2 Chainz and Meek Mill hit the stage to perform. No doubt that Diddy’s Ciroq was the choice vodka of the night.
Spotted in the lounge at nearby N9NE Steakhouse before heading over to Diddy’s party separately were James Harden of the Houston Rockets, Jason Terry of the Boston Celtics, Mike Bibby of the New York Knicks, ESPN analyst Jalen Rose and Antonio Cromartie of the New York Jets.

Rain Nightclub (Editor's note: Rain is currently closed but is available for private events.) If The Palms is Las Vegas nightlife’s powerhouse hotel, then Rain is its star quarterback. Home to International DJ Paul Oakenfold and his first US residency in ten years, Saturday nights features the brit DJ and special guests for the Perfecto party. On Fridays, Music is the Currency hosts guest performers weekly. To enter the large dance club, you walk through a futuristic tunnel leading into the main room where a spectacular lighting show splashes the floor and walls with color. Rain may be best known, however, for its special effects like cascading water, fog and bursts of flame that shoot out from metal frames above the dance floor. The upper levels offer VIP cabanas and ultra-exclusive members-only suites accessed by a biometric thumbprint scanner.
