My Tuesday night appearance on ABC’s “Celebrity Wife Swap” with longtime friend, model and actress Joan Severance drew 3.4 million viewers, beating “Glee,” “The Originals,” “New Girl,” “The Mindy Project,” “Supernatural” and “Trophy Wife.”
Obviously, “The Voice” and “NCIS Los Angeles” had much bigger ratings, but we came close to “Chicago Fire” and “The Goldbergs.” Thanks for all the tweets and emails throughout the night about “the entertaining hour.”
On average, it was about two tweets from disgruntled viewers for every 50 or so enjoying the hilarity of the fish-out-of-water confrontations between actor Eric Roberts and his wife, Eliza, and Joan and me in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Even though my agent in L.A. said that I now have to compete on “Dancing With the Stars,” I have respectfully declined.
My generous fee for appearing on “Celebrity Wife Swap” has, as usual for this type of “work,” been donated to Keep Memory Alive and Opportunity Village, both here in Las Vegas.
