Legendary singer Steve Lawrence’s new CD “When You Come Back to Me Again” was released Tuesday, and on the cover is a dedication to his late wife Edye Gorme, who passed away last August.
They were longtime Las Vegas residents who starred on the Strip for decades. My pal producer Ron Dante, who recorded the new album at Studio at the Palms, told me that country superstar Garth Brooks wrote the title cut.
Listen to the beautiful words, and you’ll discover that Garth and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, sang the background vocals. It’s a really moving song.
CONGRATULATIONS: NBA legend Michael Jordan, who turns 51 on Monday, became a “double daddy” on Tuesday when his wife, Yvette, gave birth to identical twin daughters Victoria and Ysabel.
Michael heads here from their West Palm Beach, Fla., home to Aria from April 3-6 for his 12th annual celebrity charity golf tournament. Yvette, who has accompanied Michael to Las Vegas for the three previous tournaments, hopes to be here in April — with the twins in tow.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: Local talk-show host Dennis Bono celebrates his 14th anniversary of “The Dennis Bono Show” with an all-star lineup of guests today at South Point. The show, recorded before a live audience, is set to feature country music star Crystal Gayle, impressionist Rich Little, Flamingo funnyman George Wallace and Steve Lawrence. PARTY TIME: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate and offensive lineman Alvin Bailey followed their teammates to Las Vegas to celebrate their Super Bowl XLVIII victory over the Denver Broncos. They checked into the Hard Rock Hotel and promptly tweeted shout-outs to the property “for taking care of the team” before the partying started, adding: “I feel an epic weekend brewing.”
Model Carmen Carrera partied at Share nightclub with the “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Best of the Seasons” cast after their show at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. The next day, she made headlines on the front page of CNN.com with the show. Adding to the revelry: India Ferrah, Pandora Boxx, Sharon Needles, Ivy Winters, Manila Luzon, Mr. Gay Vegas J.Son and Derrick Barry, who impersonates Britney Spears in “Divas” at the Quad.
