Eiffel Tower Paris Las Vegas Red Bull Jump
It was a hold-your-breath moment Tuesday night when two Red Bull base jumpers leapt from the top of the 541-foot Eiffel Tower at the Paris to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the original Tour Eiffel in the French capital. The incredible stunt astounded tourists on the Strip.
The jumpers landed safely in the hotel’s driveway by the replicated Arc de Triomphe. It signaled the start of a nightlong block party with stilt walkers, mimes and caricature and balloon artists.
Regional President David Hoenemeyer greeted the base jumpers — on land. More than 10 million visitors have been recorded at our Strip Eiffel Tower Experience, which was meticulously re-created in 1999 at exact half-scale.
Thanks to contributing photographer Erik Kabik of Retna for his photo gallery of the base jumpers.
