Mayweather Jr.-Maidana preparty

Boxers Floyd Mayweather Jr. of Las Vegas and Marcos Maidana of Argentina weren’t the only ones seeing stars over the weekend, as Hollywood, music and sports celebrities flocked to the Strip for the big fight weekend.

The list is long from fight night Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena (incidentally, Mayweather Jr. won by majority decision, extending his undefeated record to 46-0):

Film director Antoine Fuqua, actor Barry Pepper, rapper Bow Wow, actress Caitlin Fitzgerald, reality TV star Chris “Big Black” Boykin, actor Chris Pine, actor Dash Mihok, comedian Dave Chappelle, actor Desmond Harrington, rapper Fabolous, rapper French Montana, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, singer Joe Jonas, reality TV star Juan Pablo Galavis, singer Justin Bieber (who accompanied Mayweather Jr. during his entrance to the ring), comedian Kat Williams, actress Kathryn Hahn and rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Also, reality TV star Khloe Kardashian, rapper Lil Wayne (who accompanied Mayweather Jr. during his entrance to the ring), actor and TV host Mario Lopez, actor Michael J. Fox, singer Nick Jonas, actor Peter Facinelli, actor Pooch Hall, rapper Rev Run (Joseph Simmons), rapper Rick Ross (who accompanied Adrien Broner during his entrance to the ring), rapper Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, actor and singer Tyrese (who performed the national anthem before the Mayweather Jr.-Maidana fight) and rapper 2 Chainz.

Sports attendees included boxers Andre Ward, Bernard Hopkins, Brandon Rios, Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman and Mike Tyson (the boxing legend lives in Las Vegas), Julio Jones and Roddy White of the Atlanta Falcons, NBA player Metta World Peace and Golden Boy Promotions President and former boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

Showtime, Mayweather Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions hosted a private, star-studded VIP pre-fight party for “The Moment: Mayweather vs. Maidana” at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Celebrities in attendance included Gyllenhaal, Fox, Bieber, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Kardashian, Montana, Tyson, Jonas, Lamar, Metta World Peace, Ross, Young Jeezy, Chappelle, Jermaine Dupri, Robin Leach (who chronicled Mayweather Jr.’s rich and famous lifestyle for Showtime’s “All Access” special), Meek Mill, Peter Facinelli, Fuqua, Bow Wow, Rev Run, Diggy Simmons, Tyrese, Ashanti, Todd Phillips, Fitzgerald, Hahn, Hall, Mihok, Pepper, White, Boykin, Hopkins, DJ Drama, Bart Scott and Omar Miller.

Additional VIP guests included Showtime Chairman and CEO Matthew C. Blank, Showtime Networks President David Nevins and Executive Vice President, General Manager, Showtime Sports and Event Programming, Stephen Espinoza.

Puff Daddy hosted and performed at a fight afterparty at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel, and Meek Mill and Kardashian were among the attendees.
