To celebrate the June 3 grand opening and red ribbon cutting of the interactive Hershey’s Chocolate World flagship store at New York-New York, the candy company will give away 1 million of its trademark Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses.

That sweet treat secretly slipped out at the 3:45 a.m. pre-dawn installation today of the 18-foot Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup for the entrance facade. Next up: the 70-foot-plus Hershey’s Chocolate Bar.

That will complete the massive facade of trademark signs that will serve as the three entranceways to the superstore.

Our thanks to contributing photographer Tom Donoghue for getting up bright and early for the photos showing the cranes and welders at work before the morning rush hour.
