As a matter of fact, I’m in there so much that when I walk through, the mannequins waive. I feel it’s at the point of becoming an addiction, so this year’s New Year’s resolution is to cut my shopping sprees down to once a month and try to live within a budget.

ELIZABETH SCARBOROUGH, Taylor Swift tribute artist, “Legends in Concert” at Flamingo Las Vegas
New Year’s resolution: Oh my gosh! It's 2016 already! This is so bad, but I have not even thought about a New Year’s resolution. That totally goes against this assignment, right? If I have to pick one on the fly, I’d have to say to willfully try and make more hospital and nursing home visits as Taylor Swift because those are the most rewarding experiences. Also, I would like to try and read more. I got a Nook for Christmas, so reading on the go will be easy.
New Year’s wish: My wish is for all to have a happy and healthy 2016, and may we all find the courage and strength to fervently pursue our dreams without hesitation, remorse or judgment. If we are to come in contact with those setbacks, may we use them as platforms to work even harder and more diligently toward our goal. Happy New Year, and God bless!
