For more than 43 years, the Las Vegas Sun Summer Camp Fund has provided economically and physically challenged children the opportunity to go to summer camp. For many of these children, it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that has a profound effect on their lives. All come from low-income homes, many from single-parent families, while others are foster children who have no permanent home and are enriched socially and emotionally by interacting with other children at summer camp. One-hundred percent of the money donated to the Sun Summer Camp Fund goes directly toward camperships. The Las Vegas Sun absorbs all administrative expenses for the Sun Summer Camp Fund, which is a 501(c)3 organization. All contributions are tax-deductable. As Southern Nevada has grown, so have the needs of it's children. Please help give a child the opportunity for a great summer camp experience.
