The Mirage will reopen Aug. 27 , according to a news release issued today by MGM Resorts International.

The Strip resort has been closed since mid-March when Gov. Steve Sisolak ordered all nonessential businesses shut down to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. Casinos were allowed to start reopening on June 4.

“Reopening the Mirage allows us to bring many more of our employees back to work, which is critical in the recovery of our community,” MGM CEO Bill Hornbuckle said in a statement.
