Donovan Yap had 21 points in the first half tonight for the Arbor View High basketball team, helping the Aggies to a 83-67 victory against Las Vegas in the Mountain Region quarterfinal.
Yap, the UNLV commit, finished with 35 points, including making 13 of 14 free throws.
Mikey Medlock had 15 points and five assists for the Aggies, and Larry Holmes had 21 points and five rebounds.
“I was really impressed with our defense and rebounding tonight,” Arbor View coach Dustin Clayton said. “It was one of our best games on the defensive end.”
David Moore totaled eight points and nine rebounds for Arbor View.
