A man was slain and his killer was on the run following a shooting early Friday at an east valley strip mall, according to Metro Police.
The shooting happened about 4:10 a.m. in the 3000 block of East Desert Inn Road, near McLeod Drive, police said.
It followed an argument between the victim and another man, who pulled a gun and shot him, police said.
The victim, who was hit multiple times, died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
