North Las Vegas Municipal Court offers forgiveness for arrest warrants

People with arrest warrants pending out of North Las Vegas Municipal Court are being given the chance to quash them next week.

The events are being held for two days starting Monday, according to the city of North Las Vegas, which will be assisted by the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association with UNLV’s Boyd Law School.

“So many in our community have been suffering under economic uncertainty over the last year and bench warrants often increase the total cost of the underlying fine and even prevent re-employment,” said Municipal Court Judge Chris Lee, head of the Community Approach to Rehabilitation and Engagement Court program, in a news release.

Appointment spots are limited to 200 and can be reserved before the events here
