My wife and I would like to thank the city of North Las Vegas for the outstanding job it did (and is still doing) to vaccinate its residents.
Regrettably, it seems to be in vogue these days to bad-mouth any level of government for its perceived inefficiencies, incompetence, ineptness, inadequacies and wastefulness. In reality, however, North Las Vegas’ vaccination program was exceptional. An easy and user-friendly website is set up to register and schedule appointments, and there are several follow-up reminders.
At the vaccination site, from front door to exit, took 20 minutes (15 of which was required “post shot” wait time). It was an efficient and effective local government process.
