I always read the Sun editorials. They are informative and tell it like it is.
The one written about Sheldon Adelson’s death (“Adelson’s impact on Las Vegas and the world cannot be overstated,” Jan. 13), needs congratulations, as it was a tribute to what Adelson achieved and what he did for Las Vegas.
There have been problems between the man and the Sun since he purchased the Las Vegas Review-Journal, but yet the Sun wrote an article about Adelson on all the good he did. The editorial highlighted the impact Adelson had not only in the gaming industry but on his and his wife’s philanthropic works.
Now that is a newspaper I can be proud of to read.
Good for you in extending condolences to his family in this way.
Even though I did not like the huge financial support Adelson gave to former President Donald Trump and the GOP, I also would like to give my condolences to his family, as death is a difficult and sad time, and he will be sorely missed by them.
