Zachary Martin’s interception in the end zone with 20 seconds to play tonight sealed the Boulder City football team’s 27-22 victory against visiting Pahrump Valley.
After losing in the past two weeks to Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley, Boulder City got back on track behind 148 rushing yards and a touchdown from Hunter Moore.
“The kids have been getting better and it showed tonight,” Boulder City coach Chris Moreli said. “We had a great week of practice, and that also showed tonight.”
Martin Thompson had a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Eagles, and Brady Sorenson caught a touchdown pass.
“We got through the hammer of our schedule with the Big 3 — Moapa, Virgin and Pahrump,” Moreli said.
