Metro Police say they served a search warrant today in connection with a motorcycle gang shooting last month that injured six men.

Metro’s SWAT unit served the warrant at a building in the 1500 block of East Bonanza Road, between Maryland Parkway and Bruce Street, police said. The address coincides with the location of the Hells Angels clubhouse.

Today’s search was part of a follow-up investigation into a May 29 shooting on U.S. 95 in which members of the Hells Angels opened fire on members of the rival Vagos Motorcycle Club, police said.

The shooting led to the indictment of Russell Smith, 26, Stephen Alo, 46, and Richard Devries, 66, who face nearly three dozen counts of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon and discharging a gun into an occupied vehicle, according to Eighth Judicial District Court records.

In addition to the six Vagos members injured in the shooting in Henderson, one Hells Angels member was hurt in a crash, prosecutors said.

The warrant served today is part of an ongoing investigation, a Metro spokesperson said. No other information was immediately available.
