Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev., is a top candidate to assume the chairmanship of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., the outgoing chairman of the DSCC, is pushing Cortez Masto’s name, and it appears her candidacy has strong momentum, according to Senate Democratic sources.
Van Hollen praised Cortez Masto’s support for Democratic candidates in the 2018 midterm elections.
