The lineup for the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children has been set. As he did during his Grand Slam playing career, Agassi has effectively covered the court.

Michael Buble, Jimmy Kimmel, Martina McBride, Smokey Robinson and Train will headline the 16th installment of the Grand Slam benefit concert. The charity show is set for Oct. 29 at Wynn Las Vegas and supports the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. All students of the Academy’s three graduating classes of 2009, 2010 and this year have been accepted into college.

This year, Swiss watch maker Longines is the corporate presenter. The Grand Slam event has raised nearly $92 million since it debuted in 1995, which makes Agassi one of the great philanthropists on the planet. Last year’s event raised $8.5 million. The way to access the event is to link into one of the Grand Slam sponsorships, and for information about sponsorships, go to AgassiFoundation.org.

In a statement, the International Tennis Hall of Famer said: “It's amazing what can be accomplished when people come together to change lives and make the world a better place for children. The 16th Grand Slam will bring together some of the world's greatest entertainers, which inspires the generosity of people from Las Vegas and around the globe.

“This year's event will create a lasting memory and will enable us to give the tools of hope to the next generation. I want to personally thank Wynn Las Vegas for its hospitality and Longines for being our presenting sponsor. Both are truly generous and great partners to the Foundation.”
