One day after erecting a web site to needle Democratic anointee Steven Horsford, the National Republican Congressional Committee has consecrated three of his GOP opponents as "On the Radar" candidates.
That essentially means Barbara Cegavske, Danny Tarkanian and Dan Schwartz have reached benchmarks making them potentially credible challengers to Horsford. It's the second step on the way to Young Gun status.
It's also another sign the national GOP is going to do everything it can to make the new fourth district competitive, which it may be -- in the primary, at least! (It's still a long shot considering the nearly double-digit Democratic registration advantage.)
Left off the list: Republican Ken Wegner, a perennial contender who is perenially snubbed by the local Establishment and now...the national Establishment, too.
