American League All-Stars minus-1.5 runs (plus-180) against National League All-Stars: $300 to win $540
I always advise against betting the run line in baseball. I also advise against betting on All-Star games, so if we’re going to violate one of those rules, why not both?
I honestly have no idea who you should be siding with in this game. The only play I really like is under 7.5 runs, but at minus-125 that didn’t seem worth the price.
So I went searching for some value, and the American League pulling off a blowout seems plausible enough to get my support. I might even like the National League’s roster a little more, but whatever. All these players are good, and I’m just looking for a reason to be interested in this game.
