Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury (29) leans against the goal as Washington Capitals players celebrate a goal in the second period during Game 2 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final against the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena, Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

We’ve entered the fourth season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1.

Starting bankrolls have reset to $10,000, with the maximum bet being to win $1,000 and the minimum wager $300. A participant's failure to place a bet on their scheduled day results in a $200 bankroll penalty.

Ray Brewer won back-to-back titles in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-15.

Vegas Golden Knights plus-100 at Washington Capitals: $800 to win $800

For all of their shocking success this season, the Golden Knights haven't really faced a lot of adversity on the ice. They've breezed through the playoffs so far, with only a loss in the opening game of the Western Conference finals against the Winnipeg Jets providing the slightest speed bump.

Now, however, the Knights are facing a true must-win situation: After dropping a heartbreaker in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final at home, Vegas looked out of sorts in Game 3, and now the Washington Capitals have a 2-1 lead with Game 4 on their home ice.

Losing tonight would put Vegas in a 3-1 deficit and effectively end the Knights' Cinderella season. I think we'll see a strong bounce-back performance, especially from goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, and the Knights will skate off with a series-evening victory.

Vegas has come too far in its inaugural season to go this quietly on the biggest stage. Expect their best performance of the postseason tonight, and a 2-2 series heading into Game 5 in Las Vegas.

Keefer (34-28-1, $10,916), Granger (17-16, $9,059), Grimala (16-22, $5,965), Brewer (27-29-1, $5,230)
