Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry during the first half of Game 5 of basketball’s NBA Finals in Oakland, Calif., Monday, June 12, 2017.

We’ve entered the fourth season of the annual South Point-lined Play of the Day competition, effective July 1.

Starting bankrolls have reset to $10,000, with the maximum bet being to win $1,000 and the minimum wager $300. A participant's failure to place a bet on their scheduled day results in a $200 bankroll penalty.

Ray Brewer won back-to-back titles in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, after Taylor Bern prevailed in 2014-15.

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers under 216 points: $330 to win $300

At the beginning of the series, the total didn’t seem quite enough. Now it feels too high and in need of a larger adjustment from the first three games.

These teams are getting more familiar with each other, and that’s resulting in better defensive approaches. The Cavaliers openly admitted they were trying to figure out how to stop the Warriors as the series progressed, and despite losing the first three games, they haven’t done a terrible job.

On the other side, Cleveland’s offensive limitations beyond LeBron James are well documented.

The only game that went comfortably over was Game 2, where the Warriors hit shots even outrageous for their standards. The might do the same tonight, but even if so, there’s still a path to the under.

Another ridiculous performance from the field could demoralize Cleveland, which might not put up much of a fight if elimination becomes obvious.
