Texas plus-3 vs. TCU: $440 to win $400
TCU and Texas played in primetime games concurrently last Saturday night. In an odd twist, that scheduling has led to value in their showdown this Saturday.
Everyone watched TCU light it up but ultimately fall short in a 40-28 loss to Ohio State as 12.5-point favorites. Far fewer caught Texas igniting in the second half against USC to cruise to a 37-14 win as 3-point favorites.
Both were equally impressive, leaving no reason for a home team in a matchup between the two teams to be getting points. This looks like a great spot for the Longhorns.
There’s never been any question that they have more talent than the Horned Frogs; it was only a question on if the Longhorns would ever figure out how to use it. It looked like they figured it out against USC.
Texas comes into the TCU riding high off the win, while TCU is emotionally drained after throwing everything it could at a College Football Playoff favorite and still falling short. Additionally, Texas coach Tom Herman might be the best underdog bet in the nation.
Bookmakers are being too generous making Texas the underdog. The Longhorns are the play here.
Current Standings: Current Standings: Keefer (11-8, $10,511), Grimala (7-3, $9,950), Granger (4-3, $8,825), Brewer (4-8, $6,540)
